We spent today going around Cape Town doing things we have wanted to do for years. Well, the things we could afford (Table Mountain will have to wait).
We started off driving to Blouberg Strand & taking photos with Table Mountain in the background. It was freezing, but fun.
We then visited Habiba in Eden on the Bay. Wow! What an experience. We spent 2½ hours browsing, chatting & trying on costumes. Lindy was so friendly & helpful. It was a whole experience, not just shopping.
After taking hundreds of pictures & making our purchase (I could have bought so much more), we strolled out to our car & drove to Cavendish to visit Storm in a G Cup. We all got properly fitted & chose some beautiful bras.
At this point we were STARVING, having skipped lunch. We stopped at Primi Piatti at Cavendish & got some excellent service & full tummies.
We strolled along & found jewelry on special at Lovisa (& bought some of course).
After an ice-cream we decided we needed to buy some water. Pick n Pay didn't have, so we decided to head to Spar. GPS led us there & ... it wasn't there. So we set a course for another Spar (which was in Observatory). We found that one, bought water & tried to get home. The GPS led us into dead ends & all sorts of strange places before we found our way back to the freeway.
Now we're back in our cave (our nickname for our accommodation). We practiced a bit & now are going to collapse into bed so we can get up & be busy the whole day again.
Tomorrow, we plan on going to the V&A Waterfront to pick up Melanie (she is flying in tomorrow) & then Termare & Melanie are doing a workshop with Sandra in the afternoon. Karla & I will be somewhere around Sea Point if anyone wants to join us.
Good night
