Artemis will be giving a Raqs Sharqi workshop with Dr Nayef Taha on tabla.
This workshop will teach you about the structure of Raqs Sharqi and give you a more in depth understanding of the connectivity with live musicians.
Artemis learnt music and dancing from childhood. In later years, she became fascinated by Oriental music and dance, and threw herself into her new passion by studying and attaining her teaching qualifications.
She offers Oriental styles, fusion and fantasy belly dance in her studio in Stuttgart, Germany. Her extensive travels have seen her performing and giving workshops in Canada, Israel, South Africa, Egypt, Italy, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, Serbia and Mallorca.
