Yesterday a new timetable for the workshops at the Theatrical Oriental Dance Festival was released. Things needed to be reorganised to include a new mystery guest. IT'S SANDRA!!!
Sandra is coming to South Africa is September to give workshops at Desert Jewels in Rivonia, Johannesburg and decided to extend her stay to attend TODF.
Sandra was born is Tunisia where she was surrounded by oriental dance and music. She travelled to Cairo many times and learnt from dances such as Samy Abdelhaiim and Ibrahim Akef (to name few), as well studied at the Academy of Arts and Theatre in Cairo. She currently lives in Nice, France, where she started the Belly Dance Academy on the French Riviera.
